Scenario: As the HIM director, you have recently learned that your employees do not understand about the HR department. The HIM employees have been calling the HR department with questions concerning the revenue cycle and patient care. The HIM employees have also been calling other departments such as laboratory and radiology to learn about benefits and training opportunities.

 

Step One: Research the functions of a good Human Resource department

Step Two: make a poster that can be displayed in the department about Human Resources

Step Three: make a one-page informational flyer that can be handed out to the employees which explains when and when not to call the Human Resource department.

Step Four: Submit your poster and flyer for grading. Be sure that both the poster and flyer draws attention and contains graphics.
