Understanding and developing strategic corporate social responsibility.

Evaluate the company's CSR efforts.  What can the company do to improve its corporate social responsibility behavior and/or reputation?   As a pharmaceutical and health care company, make sure that you make specific recommendations.  This question is shared between myself and group member Fatima Adeyemo. Before focusing in the areas that need improvement is always good to point out what’s currently being done to improve corporate and social responsibility.

In this project, teams are consulting companies advising corporations on the substance and public perception of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.  The Work Plan for this project is completed in Week 4.  Teams choose a global corporation in Week 6 and report on the corporation's efforts and results in the areas of corporate social responsibility, with working outline, research, drafting and editing completed by Week 11.  The team's completed report, due the last day of this week, should address the following:

1.       Does the company have a stated policy on corporate social responsibility?

2.       What is the company doing to be socially responsible?
