Consider the following passages on how scripture discuss the acquisition of health 

Proverbs 3:7-8

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones

Luke 11:34

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness

We know from our study of the immune system that to have a health individual requires a health immune system and that wisdom and the health of your eyes don’t play a role in warding off disease. In such, how do we explain the above scripture? Is there a different kind of health than just biological health? Do some biblical and scientific research looking at these passages and reflect of their potential meanings and implications in your own life.
