A job can off rewards to its employees in different manners. An intrinsic reward is personal and self initiated, where an extrinsic reward is more like a benefit. A reward can be monetary, raise, promotion, accomplishment, or pride. Some intrinsic rewards could be: pride for my job function and daily accomplishment for meeting or exceed daily report numbers. Some extrinsic rewards are: pay increase and promotion to team lead. People are motivated differently, via intrinsic and/or extrinsic rewards.Â
