APA Guidelines are to be followed.  This means to include a reference section at the end of the assignment and include in-text citations in your answers throughout the worksheet.  The APA format for in-text ciations is (author, date of publication, page number).

  • Students have created a table or chart in Microsoft® PowerPoint with the Microsoft® Word document for the assignment.
  • Below are directions on how the assignment may be done. 
  • Students may do two documents or embed them into one if Microsoft® Excel is used for tables.  One would be the diagram and the other would be the job descriptions.  In your diagram you would select and include 4 positions that would be needed in the human resource department and show job responsibilities that are needed to perform them.  This could be done in Microsoft® PowerPoint.  Then in a Microsoft® Word document select 3 out of the 4 positions and write job description for them.  The job descriptions need to be 350 words each.  A web site that may help you is mindmapfree.com.  This assignment could be done in Microsoft® Word and PowerPoint.  I believe this would be the best way to approach completing it.I would prefer the job descriptions of actual positions in the hr department.  However, if you want to take one position (HR Representative) and discuss 4 responsibilities of this 1 position instead of 4 separate positions, you may do so.  Writing the job descriptions for 3 of the 4 would be the same.
