The 21st Century U.S. Workforce is changing. For the first time the history of the workforce, we have five generations in the workforce. The date range of the multi-generational workforce vary and for this discussion, we will use the date ranges assigned by the Center for Generational Kinetics: Traditionalist or Silent Generation (born before 1945) Baby Boomers (born 1946 through 1964) Generation X (born 1965 through 1976) Generation Y or Millennial (born 1977 to 1995) Generation Z or iGen (born 1996 to 2009) (now entering the workforce) Research academic data on this subject and include the following questions in your response: Summarize some of the traits of the generations In school or work, how has the multi-generation mix affected you?
