1)  What role does process reengineering play in strategic HRM management? If you were going to do this, how would you begin? Again, please focus on an HR application rather than a general over view of process reengineering.  Can you provide an example of where an HR process has been reengineered?

2) How can the HRM function define its mission and market? What might that look like? Why is that important?

3)Let's review some of the cultural differences that might exist in different countries. Can anyone give an example? How can knowing about these differences help us to operate more effectively? Try to use broad perspectives or models (like Hofstede's cultural differences) rather than micro differences (like paying attention to arrival times). 

4)Hofstede initially focused on the following 4 cutlural differences:

• Power Distance
• Individualism
• Masculinity
• Uncertainty Avoidance

Pick one and explain how specific HR practices might need to be adjusted of align to a country that is high on that dimension vs. low on that dimension.
