Why is HR ignoring the importance of the entrepreneurial Mindset?

I personally believe that HR (at to many established organizations) is focusing to much on building capabilities that are solely relevant to productivity improvement of the current business model.

I also believe we need to build organizational adaptability by developing the entrepreneurial mindset of talents to cope with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity in the market place.

So my questions to you are:

- do you agree with me?

  • why? What makes HR ignore the necessity to develop entrepreneurial mindset? Is it that the business isn't expecting/demanding this? Are they unaware that we now know how? Do they still believe entrepreneurship is not for within established organizations? What makes them ignore this? Or are they aware and just not doing it effectively?
