2) Why do you think no one made an effort to call for help?

There have been many examples in the news when an event happened and a 'crowd gathered' and no one took an effort to assist? For example, a man was hit by a car in Connecticut. He was laying out in the street while cars swerved around him and a crowd gathered and watched.

3) Why do you think that form of bystander apathy and diffusion of responsibility still takes place today?

Do you recall any events where no one took action to assist in some manner; even to call for help?
