                        Company Profile
Usually, business is valued according to the revenue, profit, and productivity gain. Focusing on DuPont Company there is a heavy safety culture that guides each and everything the company undergoes. The most important factor about the whole safety is the fact that there is a need for ethical values that guides the organization towards achieving its dreams and making sure that the partners and employees are safe. The idea of the safety culture is high adopted all over the world by different organizations since it is proving to be effective. However, the fact that the safety culture can affect the bottom line of the organization is overlooked.
                Problem areas/HR challenges:
HR Failure to focus on the safety measures in the business can result in the occurrence of direct costs like a medical injury of the employees and other indirect costs like loss of working time all this of which could cost the business a fortune. However, when the organization focuses on the safety measures, the result is usually that the business achieves broader business achievements. A pervasive safety culture is important for the following factors.
The ultimate goal, by HR in pursuit of the long-term goal, a pervasive safety culture must be incorporated. This is basically to ensure that there are no incidences of injury or illness. It goes without saying that, when this is achieved, there is smooth running of the business, and it makes sure that the long term goal is achieved faster that it is anticipated. For instance, when there are minimal incidences of cases of ill health, there won't be needed to stop the work schedule for anything. In some cases, at DuPont, the target has seemed impossible to achieve or otherwise hard, in this case, when the safety culture improves, the business gains grip and achieving the target becomes way too easier. When there are fewer injuries, there is a celebration within the employees' hearts which drives them towards momentum that guides the business toward achieving the long-term goal. The result is that there is an improvement in the organization's workforce.
The second factor is culture and safety performance. There is a huge relationship when it comes to culture and safety performance. Organizations with the culture have the best safety performance. This comes in handy when the organization sharpens its culture, for instance, instilling ethics to be the sole driver of the organization. That way, the safety performance becomes even better that leads to the organization becoming successful in the long run. HR has come up with an index to measure and quantify the safety culture of an organization called the Relative Culture Strength (RCS). Using the performance data from the surveys, we are at a point to be able to demonstrate a strong correlation between safety culture and safety performance, showing that the premise that a strong safety culture is an important factor for sustained high performance             Recommendations:
Elements of a successful safety plan include the following:
·        Leadership changes and employee turnover.
·        Maintaining operating discipline.
·        Conducting regular audits, reporting progress and monitoring data.
·        Renovating structures with carefully planned stuff transition.
·        Utilizing of new challenges such as off-the job safety or even community engagement to keep the momentum going towards the ultimate goal.
In addition, there are factors that help in the            fostering and support felt HR and they include the following;
·        Clear principles and policies that help in making of decisions.
·        Safety objectives and goals that is important for the setting of procedures.
·        High performance standards that help navigate the operations of the company.
There are HR certain action-oriented for organization with a strong safety culture and they include the following;
·        Development programs that transfer knowledge and skill to enable employees in recognizing unsafe conditions.
·        Comprehensive audit programs focused towards identifying and filling the gaps.
·        Effective communication programs.
In conclusion, HR safety policy implementation in business is good business since it plays a huge role in the achievement of the organization’s goals. It also saves the business a lot of direct and indirect costs that often draws the organization backwards.
