Well, the unconscious is information or wishes that we cannot get access to. Whereas the conscious and subconscious mind we can access our thoughts in the moment and is aware of them. Obviously I believe that the unconscious exist because if it didn't there wouldn't be no controversy if it is real or not. The unconscious is something that you can't have access to but it does have a big influence on your behavior as you get older. The things you've done as a child and the memories that you have but can't fully recall, still play a big part of your life because it's things that you have done. People have flashbacks to things they have done before, and remember things about it. They most learned something from it to make them who they are. Although you can't fully recall them there are things that trigger you to do the things you do or say the things you do. I think it's a very beautiful thing because although you don't have control of it, it still affects you and it's a part of you. I believe that psychologist should continue to study the concept of the unconscious because they may find new research and ideas
