Newco is hiring 400 new employees to open two new offices.  The new hires are concerned that they are going to work only 35 hours weekly - which prevents them from being included in the company’s benefit package.  

  1. If the organization maintains this philosophy, what is the long term influence on turnover?
  2. How will this influence morale of those employees who remain as employees?
  3. To what extent would such an approach likely to result in increased profits?
