Personality is instrumental in defining who are and many characteristics we as display in a giving situation. The Big Five personality factors con consist of five elements that is used to assess and describe the different kind of personality a person possess. It consists of extraversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism. This paper is going to give a brief hypnosis of an assessment of my personality traits based on the finding of the Big Five personality factors. The results from the assessment results for the Big Five personality factor and the principles of trait theories will assist in providing a solution that work with other personality types. The paper will further discuss the comparison of the of the assessment and the 16 personality factors as well as explain the relativity of the results to genetics.

There are five basic dimensions of personality can be described by the Big Five personality factors. The assessment that I conducted to determine my personality was taken from 123tex.com. the test give a concise measure of the five major factors of personality, as well as the six facets that define each factor. It also gives a more in-depth look at the results. the five factors that was measure by the test was Openness to experience that give me a score of 55%, conscientiousness that has to do with my work ethic 95%, extraversion 87%, agreeableness 87%, and natural reactions 1%. The results for openness to experience suggest that I am in the middle range of the characteristics associated with this factor. It states that I am fairly open minded, sometimes willing to consider new ideas, sometimes willing to change, not always keen to challenge tradition, fairly sensitive to feelings and tends to be a practical person.  I am also intellectually curious, likes to try new things and appreciates art, music and poetry. The second factor is conscientiousness. The results suggest that I am hard working, careful, reliable, self-confident, ethical, achievement oriented, industrious, organize and determined. The third element is extraversion and the results suggest that I am energetic, sociable, self-confident, fast-paced in style, adventurous, cheerful, enthusiastic, gregarious, affectionate and talkative. The fourth element is agreeableness and the results shows that I am compassionate, agreeable, candid, unselfish, conciliatory and gentle. The final element is natural reactions and the results shows that I am well balanced, relaxed, clear thinking, decisive, composed, resilient and unflappable.

 

• The results were very meaning and give a clear definition of the many characteristics and traits that possess. Propose solutions for working with other personality types using the information from the Big Five assessment and the underlying principles of trait theories.
