need help please help me with this

Assignment 2: Operant Conditioning (Required)

This assignment will be about operant conditioning.

Directions

1. Review Operant Conditioning in your textbook.

2. Consider the following questions:

  • Explain the difference between Reinforcement and Punishment in Operant Conditioning.
  • Explain why psychologists might encourage reinforcement of behaviors rather than punishment.
  • Finally pick a schedule of reinforcement. Define it and give a real-life example of this example (that is not already presented in the text).

3. Create a written response answering these questions and submit your essay by clicking on the Operant Conditioning assignment link below.

Purpose

This assignment will allow you to differentiate between reinforcement and punishment and to apply these concepts to real life examples of learning.

Grading

This assignment is worth 20 points toward your course grade and all posts are due 11:59 pm Sunday of Week 3. I will grade it on how well you answered the three required questions and followed the Written Assignment Guidelines. You can view your grades by clicking on Tools and then My Grades

Additionally, please note that written assignments (in any discipline) require both in-text and full reference citations. This is how you let the reader know where you obtained your information and is an important component to include in all college written work. Even if you are paraphrasing, you must use in-text and full reference citations. For assistance with this requirement, I've included an "APA folder" in the Assignments area. Failure to include proper citations may result in a 10% grade reduction (1-2 points) on each assignment.
