Arousal can be broadly defined as any emotional reaction. Although the Ariely articles discuss sexual arousal, our conversation should also include ideas on how all types of arousal and emotions (e.g., anger, fatigue, joy, frustration, etc.) affect decisions.
Â
In your discussion, address all three of the following:
1) Discuss the role of arousal and emotions on decision making. This discussion should include your own unique examples and discussion of the information (not just a summary of the readings).
2) Describe the influence of arousal on decisions using the articles by Ariely and colleagues (Andrade & Ariely, 2009; Ariely & Lowenstein, 2006). You may also use the material from the Ariely (2009) text for support, but the main focus of your discussion should be on the information in the articles.
3) Bring in at least one additional scholarly journal article (not including any of the articles listed below) to supplement your discussion.

The below videos may also help with your discussion.
