1. Rob claimed he had an easement to enter and use the swimming pool on neighboring land. A contract between the former owner of Rob's property and the adjacent apartment complex contained a provision that the use of the apartment complex's pool would be available to the purchaser. No reference to the pool was made in the contract between the former owner and Rob, nor was there any reference to it in the deed conveying the property to Rob. (A) Describe easements and licenses, comparing and contrasting the two. (B) Is this swimming pool agreement an easement or a license?
