What are your thoughts on the following proposition

 What are your thoughts on the following proposition: "good business" are an internal focus -- and, "good ethics" are an an external focus. That is, there is a differing duty to differing parties -- internally, the duty is to employees and shareholders -- externally, the duty is to community at large.

Follow-up: Can you think of a hypothetical, Class, wherein the dual duties are in conflict? and, if you were advising principles in these cases, which duty do you think is more weighty and why?
