You can assume that General Motors obtained this federally registered trademark in 1910. "Cadillac" is also a federally registered trademark for a premium canned dog food manufactured by Cadillac Dog Food Company. You can assume that Cadillac Dog Food obtained this federally registered trademark in 1950. Neither company uses a logo or color scheme similar to the other company in connection with its trademark.
