While cleaning the hotel room, Sally steals a pair of diamond earrings belonging to Lora, which were left sitting on the bathroom counter

While cleaning the hotel room, Sally steals a pair of diamond earrings belonging to Lora, which were left sitting on the bathroom counter. After work, Sally takes the earrings to a local jewelry store and trades them for a watch for her husband. The next day, Ron visits the jewelry store and purchases the diamond earrings as a gift for his wife's upcoming birthday. Upon learning of the theft, the hotel management and police investigate the missing earrings. After questioning Sally, she confesses to having taken the earrings and provides the name of the jewelry store. Lora goes to the jewelry store in an attempt to recover the earrings, and the jewelry store informs her they have already been sold to another customer. Lora will

a. not be able to recover the earrings, because Ron purchased the earrings from a merchant in the ordinary course of business.
b. be able to recover the earrings, because Sally had voidable title when the earrings were traded for the watch.
c. be able to recover the earrings from Ron, because Ron does not have good title as the earrings were stolen.
d. not be able to recover the earrings because Ron was a good faith purchaser, unaware of the theft.
