The assessment for this element of the module is worth 50% of the overall module grade.
Task:
‘inventing new knowledge is not a specialized activity...it is a way of behaving, indeed a way of being, in which everyone is a knowledge worker’ (Nonaka, 1991).
With reference to relevant literature and theory, discuss your company’s approach to strategic management of knowledge and organisational learning. Evaluate its use of strategic frameworks and tools.
A strong essay will use the key themes addressed in the second part of the module to develop the analysis, namely:

Organisational examples should be used to illustrate the themes covered in the essay to illustrate the application of ideas and their effectiveness.
Remember that a critical study aims to provide at balanced analysis of differing perspectives, and points of view, before drawing the argument to a coherent conclusion
