Question:  You are the tenant whose had enough of the apartment and the landlord, with four months left on the lease at a rent of $500/month, you get all of your stuff out and abandon the property. Your Landlord immediately retakes possession of the property and attempts to mitigate losses, but after making a reasonable search for a new tenant can only find someone to assume a one-month tenancy in the final month of your original lease term at a rent of $400 for that month. Landlord now threatens to sue you for "what you owe on welching out on the lease." Legally, how much is that under the terms of this contract?

b. $500
c. $2000
d. $1600
e. $800
