A case where a partner has been liable for a co-partners actions.

I need to reference court cases to my assignment in regards to the following areas: 1. A case where a partner has been liable for a co-partners actions. (Where the co-partner didn't have actual authority) (A) appeared to the third party with apparent authority. (B) through ratification 2. (A)A company being liable because one director involved in a contact with a third party without permission. (B) Despite the company being bound the company then sued the director and the director was found to reimburse the company for their losses. Is there an easy way to hunt for these?
