my opinion, words and concepts are not enough to be religious truths. There should be symbols, evidences and practices that further help illustrates and link the religious truth. The words and concepts are vulnerable to questioning and people might not firmly believe in their religion. The religious truths should include the religious languages, belief, diversity, concepts of God , reality, miracles and argument for and against the existence of God.Â

The Daoists were very critical of words and concepts, as we learned. (From World religion by Huston smith book ) Why were they so critical of words and ideas? How is their argument against using words and concepts similar to and different from your own position on the symbols, words, and concepts here? ( need to cite or get answers from world religion book by huston smith)
