As an employee, are you automatically an agent of the employer?  To what extent, if any, does that agency extend?  Thoughts?

How does one know if someone is the authorized agent of another?  For instance, if I own a shop and have an employee in training who has specific instructions NOT to sell anything without running it by me first, and they do sell it, was the sell valid?  Why or why not?  Thoughts?

It is said that you can fire an at-will employee at any time for any reason, for no reason; it just cannot be an illegal one. Is this statement true? Why or why not?

Our office gets calls all the time, where people are alleging discrimination at work.  Unfortunately, much of what they consider to be discrimination is not discrimination under the law.  Please select a discrimination claim in the workplace that you are aware of, or refer to an example from the text or from your research. Identify the legal issues that are involved with the claim that discrimination does or does not exist. What are the legal considerations that affect either the business or the individual claiming discrimination?

As the video states, there are some that say "Business ethics" is an oxymoron.  Would you agree or disagree?  Why?  Thoughts?
