(A family in transition with children grown and leaving the home) I need to come up with a scenario of problems family face when children leave home and one of the parents is not accepting the change. You can create any issue, however make sure you include the below information.
Each case study should be a minimum of one and one half pages double-spaced and contain the following information. It is written in prose (not outline form).
A. Demographics – names, ages, gender, race of family members. Other relevant information: Occupation, where the family lives – type of housing, socioeconomic status, location (city, rural, suburb).
B. Primary problem – Create the primary issue for which the family or family member might seek treatment. Be sure to flesh out the details. This should be several paragraphs, including interaction between members that may exacerbate the problem. Be sure to include some issues relevant to families (ie. gay/lesbian member, disabilities, learning disabilities, addiction issue (alcohol, drugs, gambling, shopping, etc.), external or problematic relationship, involvement in crime or a victim of crime, domestic violence, etc.) so they are realistic families and not just “vanilla ice cream.”
