Excellent photojournalism makes abstract current events personal in a way that few other mediums can. How or why do these images affect viewers? What do they show about individual experiences in specific circumstances? What do they teach us about the human experience through those details? For this assignment, you'll choose an image from a professional (or in the case of National Geographic, excellent amateur) photographer to analyze.
