Chapter 14 introduces many hallmark social psychology experiments on obedience and conformity. Pick one of these studies (e.g., Asch, Milgram, or Zimbardo studies) or a historical event involving obedience and conformity (e.g., Holocaust, Prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib, etc.) to be the focus of your post. Describe the study/event briefly and then discuss how the research founded principles of obedience/conformity inform your interpretation of the study/event (e.g., how would a social psychologist explain the behavior of the people involved in the study/event as well as the outcome of the study/event in terms of understanding human behavior).
