RES 709 Week 5 Method Selection and Justification
This week you will select a research method that's appropriate for your study. As you select a method, bear in mind that quantitative research is used to address a social problem by using numerical data to quantify a participant's opinions, perceptions, and feelings. Qualitative research on the other hand, uses approaches such as interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, observations, or archival documents to gain an understanding of participant's opinions, perceptions, and feelings, or by examining documents or narratives.
Select and provide the rationale for the appropriate method to achieve your research objectives.
Post your problem statement, purpose, research questions, and proposed method and rationalization to the Method Peer Review learning activity. See the Method Peer Review learning activity for additional instructions.
Â
Write a paper which includes your problem statement, purpose, research questions, and proposed method and rationalization.
Format your paper according to APA guidelines.
Submit you assignment to the Assignment Files tab.
