The PSY 3000 Topic Research Summary gives students an opportunity to explore more thoroughly a specific topic from the world of psychology. The summary is required to be your own work that is well written and organized. Tell the reader (professor) about your subject in a way that makes sense and is interesting. The expectation is that you will use APA guidelines to cite references. An APA guide is available in our course shell under the ‘Resources & Policies’ tab. No less than three (3) references are required. This is a summary of the information that you have researched, so this will be written in your own words – except when you cite a specific reference. The references that are used are to reinforce what you are saying about the subject in your own words. Plagiarism of material will result in failure. Proper use of the English language including spelling, punctuation, and grammar are required. The Topic Research Summary is to be turned in using the link in the Class Folders in Blackboard and is due before the end of week eight (3-5-17).
