Your task is to design five group counseling sessions that will help move your clients forward and (hopefully) into the recovery process. Each session will be a combination of a discussion topic, followed by a group activity. You may assign homework for your clients between sessions; homework can be either written, research-oriented, or experiential. Remember that your clients are in early recovery. They have never attended AA or any other support group, and they have never experienced group counseling before.
Write a two-page paper (minimum 500 words) that briefly describes the content of each of the five group counseling sessions, including the discussion topic, the group activity, and any homework assignments between sessions. You may not use the exact exercises from your readings for this week; you must be creative and think about how you could work with your group to help each group member move forward
