Description of study type

Hello. I have school project to write research proposal. I am working on effective exercise and depression. I will choose 100 major depression participants and half of them will be on exercise treatment. half of them are controlled group (just take depression medication). I will use depression 12 questionaries survey type( before and after) for data collection.  do you have any idea about this questions. please give me an idea.
