identify and eliminate potential jury bias

How do I respond to this post......I have to give some feedback or asked them a question to keep some dialog going.

According to our text, research suggests that extended voir dire conducted using personable and open-ended questions solicit a more open honest response from potential jurors. Voir dire is when judge and both attorneys are allowed the question from the pool of potential jurors (Cronin, 2009).

Voir dire's primary purpose is to identify and eliminate potential jury bias. This is done by allowing the judge and both attorneys to question the pool or potential jurors (Cronin, 2009). By allowing BOTH attorneys to question the jurors removes the bias by reducing the likelihood that the jury will be stacked in one direction alone. For example, if the defense attorney, and only the defense attorney, is questioning jurors he or she is most likely to select jurors that are sympathetic to their client, same if the plaintiff's attorney alone is selecting jurors.
