A psychologist decides to investigate helping behaviors.

A psychologist decides to investigate helping behaviors. Two students will act as confederates in a staged procedure. One student, Ted, will wear torn and dirty clothes. The other student, Ned, will wear an expensive and clear suit and tie. The students will approach pedestrians on a busy street corner and ask for change either in the morning or in the evening. The table below indicates the amount of money (in dollars $) given to Ted and Ned at the two different times of day. Describe these results in your own words. Make sure to use the terms ‘main effects’ and ‘interaction’ in your description.
