formulating a research idea for my research methods class

 

 I need help formulating a research idea for my research methods class in order to do my proposal. Some of the topics that I am interested in: attraction, depression, college experience, and happiness. I need help making a hypothesis about one of the topics above, and I need help with coming up with a way performing the study. Because this is research methods class, I will not be actually performing the study. Instead, my study must use valid and reliable surveys that have been used in previous research. Also, my study has to be survey/obervational study and not a cause/effect study. I need to be able to find 10 articles on my topic and my study needs to offer a new angle on the topic and cannot just be exactly what other researchers have done.

 

My proposal should like the proposals that my professor previously approved in the attached file that I attached to this question below
