According to Thomas Kuhn on his "The Structure of Scientific Revolution", “the decision to reject one paradigm is always simultaneously the decision to accept another, and the judgment leading to that decision involves the comparison of both paradigms with nature and with each other”(78).  What does he mean by this and to what extent is Kuhn’s assertion critical to his overall argument that the history of science is punctuated by revolutions?
