   • This is the website for the American Art Therapy Association (AATA). AATA is an organization of professionals dedicated to the belief that making art is healing and life enhancing.    • This is the website for the American Counseling Association (ACA). ACA is a professional and educational organization dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession.  The mission of the ACA is to enhance the quality of life in society by promoting the development of professional counselors, advancing the counseling profession, and using the profession and practice of counseling to promote respect for human dignity and diversity.

   • This is the website for the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). ADTA is an organization supporting the emerging profession of dance/movement therapy.

   • This is the website for the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). AMTA's purpose is the progressive development of the therapeutic use of music in rehabilitation, special education, and community settings. AMTA is committed to the advancement of education, training, professional standards, credentials, and research in support of the music therapy profession.

   • This is the website for the American Psychological Association (APA). APA is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States. The mission of APA is to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people's lives.
6. Association for Psychological Science. (http://www.psychologicalscience.org)
   • This is the website for the Association for Psychological Science (APS). APS is dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level. The Association’s mission is to promote, protect, and advance the interests of scientifically oriented psychology in research, application, teaching, and the improvement of human welfare.
7. International Association of Counselors and Therapists. (http://www.iact.org)
   • This is the website for the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT). IACT is an association for holistic practitioners. It provides a forum where members may exchange ideas, information, techniques and methodologies.
