Statistical methods psychology class (PSY 3204)

I am having trouble with the SPSS software for my statistical methods psychology class (PSY 3204). I have a mac computer btw. I am trying to save my output files to turn in at the end of the semester. Every time I try to save or export the a file I get an error message that says "Cannot access this file. Check security privileges over the network drive." I have tried making changes with the privacy settings on my computer, but nothing has worked. Am I doing something wrong or is there an easier way to save files with this software? Thanks!!
