Discussion 10.2: Compare World Religions

Discussion 10.2: Compare World Religions

Answer the following questions for the initial post.  Reply to two (2) other students and discuss the content of their post to earn full points.

NOTE: Religion is a sensitive and personal subject for many.  Answer the following questions objectively.  Do not insert your subjective opinion about the validity of the religion or those who practice it.

1. SUMMARIZE the basic teachings of Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism.

2. IDENTIFY a few differences and similarities among the three religions.

Finally, read and reply to your fellow students’ answers.  Identify one of the religions, from number one, and discuss what rituals (communion, ‘being saved’, clothing, etc.) are used for identification and acceptance in the religion.
