Discuss how society decides what to define as a crime.

I am having trouble answer these questions. I have attached two articles that i am using in the paper.. If you could possible give me some help that be appreciated.. and possibly edit the paper in areas it is needed. that would be great.

Discuss how society decides what to define as a crime.

  1. Present a clear statement about a particular crime, something we know to be absolutely true. Illustrate how we know that this is an accurate statement.
  2. Present an example of a widely held myth or      misconception about crime and society. Determine how we know that this is      a myth. Explain why this myth is so difficult to abandon.
