Please expound on your answers… In the beginning of this course, we discuss what the ancient philosophers thought. How can it be that the thoughts of people from more than 2000 years ago can be relevant today? Particularly their answers to the question, Why should I be moral? Try answering this question from different philosophical perspectives (the Bible, Thucydides, Socrates, and Plato). If you are really ambitious, how about Kant (whose thoughts are only 250 years old?)
