Can someone give me please a concrete example of a primary active transport protein pump that may initiate a co transport of cholesterol as an energy independent secondary transport..
For exapmple int he case of glucose this is achieved through an initial primary active tap dependent movement of sodium ions and potassium ions. the secondary step is that of sodium "dragging: glucose with it (cotransport) as a simper.
I need a similar example but with cholesterol
