Diversity Consciousness in the Workforce

In today's workforce, many individuals do not use all of their potential, particularly their insight, resourcefulness, and talent. Does a lack of diversity consciousness shown by employees or their managers contribute to this situation? What implications does this have for educators, who may be preparing the next generation of workers?

By Day 3:

Post: What are the potential costs of a lack of diversity consciousness among employers and workers?

By Day 7:

Read a selection of your colleagues' postings.

Respond to at least two of your colleagues' postings in any of the following ways:

• Build on something your colleague said.
• Explain why and how you see things differently.
• Share an insight from having read your colleague's posting.
• Offer and support an opinion.
• Validate an idea with your own experience.
