I need this completed by midday Thursday 6/9/16. I have attached the instructions, as well as a list of resources. It must be written in APA format and referenced throughout the paper. Each question needs to be addressed in depth and referenced. Thank you.

Gender IdentTy Analysis Males typically idenTfy with the male gender and females with the feminine gender. ±he quesTon for many researchers today and for this Discussion is: How does this gender idenTFcaTon occur? How do individuals come to idenTfy with and accept themselves as either one gender or the other? ±his concept is termed gender identTy in social psychology. ±here are two terms associated with gender idenTty that are important to highlight: gender sTabiliTy and gender consisTency . Gender stability means that gender is a stable personal characterisTc and does not change with age or the situaTon or the environment. Gender consistency means that you idenTfy with your gender regardless of how you are behaving. If you are a male and put on a pink dress, you show gender consistency if you sTll idenTfy with being male, even though you are behaving like a female. In this Discussion, you will explore some of the signiFcant factors that in²uence gender idenTty and how these in²uencing factors impact society as a whole. ±o prepare for This Discussion: • Review Chapter 6 in the course text, Gender: Psychological Perspectves . ³ocus on how di´erent factors in²uence gender idenTty. • Watch a few di´erent ±V shows, sitcoms, commercials, or news reports. Also look at a popular magazine and peruse the ads. ±hink about how these media sources 1) in²uence and or reinforce gender idenTty and 2) play a part in in²uencing gender bias. ³ocus on speciFc examples. • Using yourself or your child (or someone else's child with whom you are close), think about the most important in²uenTal factors on gender idenTty, including biological, environmental, family, peer group, and cultural. WiTh These ThoughTs in mind: PosT by Day 4 your thoughts on how biology, environment, culture, family, peer group, and the media impact gender idenTty in the U.S. Brie²y describe how this in²uence on gender idenTty is accomplished. How do you think these examples impact society as a whole? ³inally, explain how you think the percepTon of gender idenTty di´erences impacts society as a whole. Be sure To supporT your postngs and responses wiTh specifc reFerences To The Learning Resources.  Course ±ext: Gender: Psychological Perspectves Brannon, L. (2011).
