Thanks
Lab 12 Remote Desktop ConnectionIt is time for us to delegate some of our administrative responsibilities. We will have threemajor outcomes for this lab.●Enable a user to be able to remote into the server with some responsibilities.●Change the default port for the RDP (remote desktop protocol).●Ensure that no other users (except administrators) can remote into the server. We like to configure our server in a manner that scales. So we aren’t going to add anindividual for remote administration, we are going to add a group. In your Active DirectoryUsers and Computers create an OU to contain your remote admin group. Then create agroup in the OU, add the user you have selected to be a remote admin to that group. Nowadd the group you created to the Remote Desktop Users group. This group is built-in andhas permissions preconfigured.Second let’s allow remote connections to our server. Make sure you are logged into yourserver.Click on the start menu button, right click on This PC and select properties. (You canalso right click on the Start Button and select “System”.) In the left hand column selectRemote settings. In the Remote Desktop section click the Allow remote connections to thiscomputer radial.Next click the Select Users button. Add the group that you just created(you may have done this already when we created the group). This setting is limited tousers and groups.
