Keep your upper three points below freezing and saturated (i.e., same temperature and dew point) and then take your lowest surface points and pull them apart keeping the dew point below freezing and the temperature above freezing (e.g., 6 °C temperature and -2 °C dew point). Let the simulation run and observe what happens to the lower (above freezing) temperature point in time. What happens to the point/temperature trace? Why does the temperature behave like this?
