how people find that symmetrical proportion

It is interesting to see that attractiveness is universal. While we may hear the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be true to some extent, research has shown different. In a past research pictures of male and female strangers where shown to a large group of people. They were asked to state if attractive or not attractive. Results showed that the majority agreed of who they deemed attractive or not attractive. The study went on to discuss how people all over the world find that having a face with symmetrical proportion was universally attractive.
