The science of molecular biology, especially when linked to the phenomenal microbial growth rate, has created an unprecedented opportunity for manipulating genetic exchange. These could result in developments that could benefit mankind in significant ways. Of course, there are also risks, and especially concerns about unforeseen problems. Locate a website/book/research article/scientific sources that comments on genetic exchange. Summarize the viewpoint of the source you have chosen, then reflect on the following questions: 1. Do you think that the transfer of genes across living species should be controlled or even prevented? Would you limit some types of cross-species transfer of genes (i.e. human genes)? If so why?  2. In 1998, Switzerland voted to make illegal the creation of transgenic life forms in that country. How would you have voted?
