Psychology 101

Psychology is a science. As such, you have to be careful to critically analyze media presentations of research. This module/week's thread will allow you to apply psychological perspective to a real world research scenario and consider how you might systematically explore the topic through research, realizing the strengths/limitations of each approach. News stories are continuously discussing potential links between video games and aggression. Choose a psychological perspective from your textbook that you think might best explain why this link has been found. Be sure to answer these questions:

• What perspective did you select?
• What are the key points of this perspective (i.e., clearly define the theory and what it states are key determinants of human behavior)?
• How would this perspective explain the link between video games and aggression?
• How does this perspective fit into a biblicalworldview(e.g., what areas are consistent/inconsistent)?

Cite your textbook whenever paraphrasing content related to the perspective.
