social inequality

I am writing I'm an essay about income inequality in America, attached below is part of my overview and I am wondering about something that I can add to make it a tad longer or maybe even adding another paragraph. As well as sentence structure and flow.

"Our society runs into all kinds of inequality. Sexism, racism, and xenophobia are just a few of the plagues in our world. However, there's another type of inequality whose impact goes beyond social and emotional harm. Income Inequality is where wealth is unevenly disrupted among social classes favoring the upper class, shrinking the middle class, and ruining the standard of living of the lower class. This social inequality causes the lower class to live without health insurance, access to higher education, and proper nutrition. Education is your most important asset to increase your standard of living. Your education is your capital the further you go the high up the social, economic ladder you will climb."
