Here are the instructions for a paper that is due asap. Â
Please let me know if you understand what it's asking for!
For this assignment you will complete an in-depth review of an APUS Online Library scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article on an important issue in psychology (a list of topics will be provided by the course professor). This summary will be submitted to the professor for grading and posted on the Week 2 course discussion forum where it will 1) be read by classmates for discussion in class, and 2) be considered by classmates as the direction for their course paper (see details in the Course Paper assignment instructions). The assignment is a review of a single research experiment article, not an opinion publication or one reviewing and/or summarizing multiple writings or researchers' experimental studies. As such it should only have a single publication listed in the required APA formatted Reference list attached to the end of the summary paper. Papers not in compliance with the above cannot be graded. The review must include a description of the article’s main focus, a description of the experimental methodology (including the study sample, measures and analyses used, etc.), discussion of the results and related conclusions reached by the article’s authors, and a substantive closing paragraph describing two to three future research ideas inspired by the article. Peer-reviewed in the assignment title means an article in an academic journal that had to be approved by the journal's editorial panel of scientific discipline experts. Trade journals and commercial/popular publications do not qualify for the assignment. Samples articles are located in the classroom Resource Folder to assist students in identifying peer-reviewed holdings in the APUS Online Library (these are examples only and may not be used in the completion of this or other assignments).
